Sleepless, yet again.
A million thoughts racing around my brain.
Hardly there but they're gone,
pushed out by the next batch coming round,
circle round till it comes to forefront again.
One thought spurs another & the circle grows, races faster.
Sleepless, without fail.
Typical insomniac night for me is sitting in a chair in front of the hearth, reading a book, surfing the web, knitting, crocheting ... trying to slow the brain down long enough to sleep.

The piece is trying to give an idea of how anxiety, racing thoughts and/or other factors play into and effect my sleep. I have been an insomniac for years and have suffered from GAD since my teens.
